PLACES TO EAT AND HANGOUT
The islands are a tropical paradise and offer an excellent range of dining options to suit all desires and budget. The essence of SVGs culinary strength owes much to its cultural diversity; food from all over the Caribbean combined to create a fusion of different cooking styles and dishes.
Visitors should consider eating at some of the local restaurants in the downtown area of Kingstown or the commercial areas of the Grenadines. You are guaranteed to find a mixture of local West Indian cuisine such as Rotis, conchs, fish and other full-meal dishes served with produce and vegetables - West Indian style.
Don't expect a lavish nightlife when you are in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Night time entertainment is centred around the hotels, restaurants and bars. A few restaurants and bars in the downtown Kingstown area and villa offer live entertainment mostly on the week-ends. If you are very adventurous, you may join the street party at Calliaqua, a two-minute drive from Villa.
